The Norwegian Royal Court has released a video of Princess Ingrid Alexandra visiting Taronga Zoo to learn about conservation.
The Princess visited Taronga Zoo with a video crew to meet some of its residents and hear about how the zoo is a leading institution for the conservation of endangered animal species.
She is seen feeding koalas and kangaroos during her adventure. She also thanked the zoo for its work, stating, “Thank you so much for showing us around and for the very important work you do. Very interesting.”
With the release of the video, the Royal Court explained the work of Taronga Zoo: “Through targeted breeding programs, research and communication, the zoo is working to ensure the survival of both Australian and international species that are in danger of extinction.”
Princess Ingrid Alexandra just finished her first semester at the University of Sydney, where she is studying for a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political economy.
