Crown Princess Victoria extends role with UNDP

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has extended her role as ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme for two years.

The Crown Princess will continue her role as the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador for the Global Sustainable Development Goals.

The announcement was made while Victoria was visiting the UN Pavilion in Japan at Expo 2025.

The UNDP’s Swedish Representative Office said: “The Crown Princess has long worked to increase awareness and commitment to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. The Crown Princess is an influential force in the work to combat poverty, prevent crises and protect the Earth’s resources.”

Crown Princess Victoria has visited many countries as part of her role with the UN organisation.
