Buckingham Palace shares that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child.
Congratulations are in order for Mr and Mrs Brooksbank as Buckingham Palace has shared that Princess Eugenie (36) and Jack (40) are expecting their third child together. The couple already have two sons, August (5) and Ernest (2). The new addition will be fifteenth in line to the throne, overtaking the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward.
The Palace notes that King Charles has been informed and is “delighted with the news”.
Eugenie and Jack married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in October 2018 after being acquainted by mutual friends. The couple had their previous children in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
A statement from Buckingham Palace earlier today states,
Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.
August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.
His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.
