The Jordan Post Company has announced the release of commemorative stamps to mark the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa.
Released for the New Year, the stamps feature three photos of the couple from their 1 June 2023 wedding in Amman. The package consists of two stamps, one card and an envelope.
The aim is to celebrate the wedding and allow those outside Jordan to see Jordanian heritage.
According to the Jordan Post Company, “The issue of commemorative stamps comes to preserve and immortalise the achievements of the Kingdom and national events or those associated with major celebrations during a certain period, allowing fans of commemorative stamp collectors from different parts of the world to view Jordanian heritage.”
Both domestic and international stamp collectors can obtain the package. Those outside Jordan will need to send a money order issued from a country that exchanges postal money orders with Jordan. They can also use the Money Gram Service.
Stamps can be purchased beginning on 11 January at the company’s building in Al-Muqabalayn, next to the Radio and Television Building.
More information can be found on the Jordan Post website.
