Emir of Qatar’s son engaged

The Father Emir of Qatar’s son is engaged to be married.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani confirmed his upcoming nuptials at a wedding in Doha.

The Sheikh was caught on camera at the wedding confirming his own wedding to Sheikha Fatima bint Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani, which is due to take place on 6-7 December in the capital of Qatar.

His mother will host a banquet on 6 December at Al Wajba Palace in Doha.

Sheikh Khalifa, 33, is the son of Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and his second wife, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Khalifa’s older brother is the reigning Emir.

Khalifa has been Qatar’s Minister of Interior since 2023.

The bride-to-be, daughter of Sheikh Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani, prefers to stay out of the spotlight, and as such, not much is known about her.
