Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has been released from the hospital.
The Queen was released from the Rigshospitalet earlier today. She will be returning to Fredensborg Palace.
According to the press release, Queen Margrethe would also like to thank you for the many kind thoughts and greetings that have been sent to Her Majesty.”
She will continue to rest at home, and her engagement on 23 May at the Pantomime Theatre has been cancelled.
Queen Margrethe was hospitalised on Thursday with chest pains, and she underwent a balloon angioplasty on Friday.
