Queen Margrethe II of Denmark attended a birthday concert in her honour performed by the Royal Life Guards Band.
She celebrated her 86th birthday with her son, King Frederik, and his wife, Queen Mary, and her sister, Queen Anne-Marie, by her side.

The concert took place alongside the changing of the guards at noon yesterday.
Citizens were invited to the courtyard to join the celebrations and watch the concert.
Queen Margrethe celebrated the rest of the day privately with her family.
