Queen Letizia of Spain is in Guatemala to learn more about the work of the Cooperación Española.
Queen Letizia is accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation, Eva María Granados. Their trip will focus on three pillars: the fight against child malnutrition, the elimination of violence against women and girls, and education.

This is Queen Letizia’s ninth trip since her husband’s accession to the Spanish throne. She visited Honduras and El Salvador in 2015, Senegal in 2017, the Dominican Republic and Haiti in 2018, Mozambique in 2019, Honduras in 2020, Paraguay in 2021, Mauritania in 2022 and Columbia in 2023.
