Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway has joined her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, to visit children in the Drammen Hospital.
They were greeted by children dressed in St Lucia costumes, who also performed the Lucia song. The two princesses were then brought to the 11th floor, which is where the children’s department is located.
They met with children who were regular visitors of the diabetes clinic and met with employees of the department. The diabetes clinic serves one of the largest patient groups in the department. Other groups include metabolic diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, heart diseases and neurological diseases.
