Her initiative is promoted by the Permanent Mission of Spain to the United Nations, together with the Permanent Mission of Sweden and Rare Diseases International (RDI), the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), the Diseases Committee Rare for the UN, Rare Diseases Europe (EURORDIS) and Agrenska Foundation.
Over 300 million people worldwide have a rare disease, and they face a variety of challenges.
