Queen Letizia meets delegation from United Nations Refugee Agency

Queen Letizia of Spain has met with a delegation from the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) at Zarzuela Palace.

The UNHCR is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year. The delegation was led by the acting UNHCR representative in Spain, Carolina Mateos. They were joined by a group of refugees. 

The delegation spoke with Queen Letizia about the realities faced by the refugees in Spain.

The audience is part of Queen Letizia’s ongoing work with vulnerable people.
