Princess Adrienne of Sweden has visited her duchy for the first time.

The Princess travelled to Bleknige with her parents, Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, to dedicate her christening gift at the Blekinge Museum in Karlskrona.

For her 2018 christening, she received a history-themed playroom at the museum, and she visited the museum to see the gift for the first time. The seven-year-old royal played in and learned about the playroom.

She later met artist Susanne Demåne in Edestad to see her studio and art. Adrienne’s eyes lit up when she was able to meet Demåne’s animals, particularly the horses.

As they were leaving, the media asked Princess Madeleine and Princess Adrienne in Swedish about the visit. Madeleine then turned to Adrienne to ask her what her favourite part of the day was, in English.

Madeleine asked her, “All of it? The horses?”

Addie, as Madeleine called her, replied, “Yeah.”

Adrienne has spent the majority of her life in the United States and only began living in Sweden in the summer of 2024. She knows both English and Swedish, but she is most comfortable speaking English. Her grandmother, Queen Silvia, said that Adrienne is shy about speaking the language, but “she’ll get there.”
