Prince Emmanuel of Belgium has started professional football training in Spain.

The son of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde is attending a football academy in Zaragoza, Spain.

This academy is where players are trained to play in Spain’s top men’s professional football league – the Primera División.

The Prince’s training only recently came to light with a video published by Belgian news HLN.

It is said that he trains every day and competes in matches on weekends.

The 19-year-old Prince announced his education plans in August, revealing that he was going to study language and sports training over the next year at an academy abroad. The Royal Palace didn’t reveal the location of the academy.

Emmanuel is the third child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde and is third in the line of succession.
