Four new photos have been released on the occasion of Princess Ariane of the Netherlands’s 18th birthday today.

The photos were taken by Frank Ruiter at the Princess’s family home of Paleis Huis Ten Bosch.
Princess Ariane was born on 10 April 2007 as the third and youngest daughter of the future King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. She is currently attending United World College Adriatic in Italy.
Her mother revealed a few weeks ago that Princess Ariane would not be attending the King’s Day celebrations on 26 April in Doetinchem as she was busy with her exams. Her birthday today would also be spent on those exams.
