New photos of King Felipe to mark ten years on the throne

Casa Real has released new photos to mark the tenth anniversary of King Felipe’s accession to the Spanish throne.

The King is seen in his office at Zarzuela Palace in both black and white and colour photographs.

In some of the images, the King is signing state papers at his desk with a portrait of King Carlos III behind him.

The King will celebrate his tenth anniversary on Wednesday, 19 June with his wife, Queen Letizia, and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia with a series of events. Celebrations will take most of the day and not conclude until 11:00 pm.

The following day the King and Queen will inaugurate a new exhibit at the Royal Palace titled Felipe VI 2014-2024. A decade of history of the Crown of Spain.
