King Willem-Alexander to appear on podcast

King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands will appear on a podcast on the occasion of his ten years as King.

The ten episodes were made with former radio host Edwin Evers and will be called “Through the Eyes of the King.” He will look back at every year of his reign. The recording took place in January and February of this year in the King’s study at Huis ten Bosch.

The first three episodes will appear tomorrow morning on all major podcast apps.

King Willem-Alexander said, “I really enjoyed working on this podcast. It is precisely because of the opportunity for reflection that I am even more excited to enter the next ten years with good courage and a lot of energy. It has gone so fast, and it has been so nice to be able to serve the Netherlands from the monarchy that I am really looking forward to the next ten years. As far as I’m concerned, they can go a bit slower.”
