King Willem-Alexander and Princess Margriet of the Netherlands celebrated the Dutch Paralympians who won a medal.

They were first received by Prime Minister Rob Jetten and the Minister of Long-Term Care, Youth and Sport, Mirjam Sterk. Afterwards, they went to meet King Willem-Alexander and his aunt, Princess Margriet, at Noordeinde Palace.

Jeroen Kampschreur became the most successful Paralympian in Italy, winning three gold medals. Niels de Langen also won three medals, which consisted of two silver ones and a bronze one. Lisa Bunschoten-Vos came home with a silver medal.

Jeroen Kampschreur previously won gold at the 2018 Paralympics and was thus already knighted. So this time, he received a figurine.
