King Harald V of Norway remains in hospital for now, the Norwegian royal court announced.
According to a statement, King Harald will not participate in the visit to Trøndelag, but Queen Sonja will carry out the visit as planned. Their son, Crown Prince Haakon, is regent.
Another health update will follow within the next week.
King Harald was admitted to the hospital earlier this week. He was being treated with cortisone for the blood disease hemolytic anaemia, which led to fluid accumulation in the body that required treatment in the hospital.
