King Frederik X of Denmark has sent his condolences to his Swedish counterpart, King Carl XVI Gustaf, following a school shooting.
The statement reads, “Deeply horrified and touched by the brutal shooting at a school in Örebro today, I send my warmest thoughts and deepest condolences to you and the entire Swedish people.”

The King of Sweden also sent his condolences and has ordered all the flags on Swedish royal palaces to fly at half-mast. He and Queen Silvia will visit the area today.
