King Frederik and Queen Mary to visit Faroe Islands

King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark have announced they will visit the Faroe Islands this summer.

The King and Queen will travel to the Faroe Islands from 11-13 June 2025.

This will be Their Majesties’ first visit to the Danish territory since Frederik ascended the throne in January 2024. The trip was originally scheduled for June 2024.

Frederik and Mary will travel to Tórshavn, Vágur, Fámjin, Tvøroyri and Eiði and will be hosted by Attorney General Aksel V. Johannesen.
