King Felipe presents award to Luksic family

King Felipe of Spain has presented the 10th Enrique V. Iglesias Award for the Development of the Ibero-American Business Space to the Luksic family.

They were given the award in recognition of their business careers and their contributions to strengthening economic and business relations in the Ibero-American sphere.

Before the award ceremony, King Felipe greeted the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand; the Secretary General of the Organisation of Ibero-American States, Mariano Jabonero; the Secretary of State for Trade, Amparo López Senovilla; the President of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI) and Secretary of the Jury, Núria Vilanova; as well as various members of the Luksic family.

The award ceremony took place in the Bourbon Hall of the Royal Palace of El Pardo.

After the award ceremony, the Luksic family expressed their gratitude for the honour, and King Felipe thanked them for their work, stating, “… congratulations and best wishes for continued success in this task, which, as I say, is everyone’s responsibility, to contribute to making Latin America a truly positive force in the world, something that contributes to a new phase in our world, so that we can enjoy stability, well-being, hope …” 

King Felipe then joined a reception with the Luksic family and other attendees of the ceremony.
