King Felipe VI of Spain was in London to attend the Wimbledon men’s final.

The match was between the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz and the Italian Jannik Sinner.

King Felipe was accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska. They were greeted by representatives of the Wimbledon organisers. King Felipe watched from the Royal Box, where he was joined by Prince and Princess of Wales and two of their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They are distant cousins as they are descendants of Queen Victoria. They met up briefly before the match.

Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 and 6-4.
