Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein, has hosted a New Year’s reception at Vaduz Castle.

He was joined by his son, Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein and his daughter-in-law, Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein. Prince Alois has been acting as regent for his father since 2004, although his father officially remains the head of state.
The New Year’s reception was for members of diplomatic missions in Liechtenstein and representatives of international organisations.
