Crown Prince Haakon of Norway has inspected His Majesty The King’s Guard at Huseby in Oslo.
The Crown Prince revealed an honorary plaque.
Leading Private Maren Madelen Berntsen received the Guard’s Watch as best guard of the year. The Guard’s Watch is usually presented to those who have distinguished themselves.

Crown Prince Haakon also presented Brigadier Leif Schanche’s honour – a sabre – to Lieutenant Oliver Eide.
Towards the end of the inspection, there was a drill demonstration, much to the delight of the spectators.
