Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit have met with organisations for the prevention of violence against women

On International Women’s Day, the Crown Prince couple learned more about the various organisations in this field. They met with representatives from the Oslo Police District’s special unit RISK, the Church’s City Mission, the Crisis Center Secretariat, JURK and Alternative to Violence. The Mayor of Oslo and the Oslo police chief were also present.

Following this meeting, the couple visited the Asker, Bærum and Lier Crisis Center, which is open to all people who have experienced violence in their relationships.
