King Harald of Norway’s state funeral will take place at Oslo Cathedral on Wednesday, 9 September, at 1:00 p.m, and royals from several royal houses have confirmed their attendance.
Belgium: King Philippe and Queen Mathilde
Bulgaria: Kyril, Prince of Preslav and Princess Rosario (also known as Rosario Nadal)
Denmark: King Frederik, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Christian, and Princess Benedikte (Queen Margrethe was scheduled to attend, but she has fallen ill.)
Greece: Queen Anne-Marie, Princess Alexia and her husband, Carlos Morales Quintana and Prince Nikolaos
Japan: Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko
Jordan: King Abdullah and Queen Rania
Liechtenstein: Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein and Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein
Luxembourg: Grand Duke Guillaume, Grand Duchess Stéphanie and Grand Duke Henri

United Kingdom: The Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal
Queen Margrethe of Denmark was due to attend the funeral, but she was hospitalised on 6 September due to a blood clot. Her condition is stable, but the Royal House announced that she will no longer travel to Norway.
King Harald, who died last Friday at Oslo’s National Hospital, will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 9 September. The funeral ceremony will follow the funeral liturgy of the Church of Norway.
The funeral procession will be led by the President of the Church of Norway, Olav Fykse Tveit. The Bishop of Oslo, Sunniva Gylver, Cathedral Cantor Marcus André Berg, the Oslo Cathedral Choir, amongst others, will also participate.
