Queen Margrethe II of Denmark had lunch at City Hall as part of her Jubilee celebrations.

At Copenhagen City Hall, the Copenhagen’s Boy Choir, Zapolski Strygerne and Vesterbro Youth Farm performed for the Queen, her family and other guests.

The mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, gave the Queen a number of cherry trees as a gift for the Jubilee. These trees will be planted in Copenhagen. The Queen thanked the mayor by saying, “May the little trees last for many, many years and may the city of Copenhagen flourish and prosper for many more years than a cherry tree can hope for.”
