Princess Benedikte of Denmark was on hand to name a new rowing boat.
She visited the Danish Student Rowing Club in Copenhagen for the occasion. The boat was named Happy and will be used by rower Karina Lauridsen, who is training to qualify for the Paralympic Games in Paris.
The Danish Student Rowing Club is the largest rowing club in Denmark and has over 900 members. It traces its history back to 1867, although the current club was formed with a merger in 1917.
Princess Benedikte was also presented with a gift ahead of her 80th birthday on 29 April by chairman Kasper Haagensen.
