Queen Camilla visited the Ashiana Network. This is a project which supports South Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish women who are experiencing domestic violence.

Queen Camilla was shown around the facility by former resident Ayda Nemati. She was sold to a man and was kept as a prisoner for over a year before she managed to escape. She stayed in the refuge for four years.

She also met with several staff members, including the Director of the Ashiana Network, Shaminder Ubdi.
