Queen Camilla visited the Asian Women’s Resource Centre in London to celebrate its anniversary and show support for domestic violence victims.

The Queen was at the Asian Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) to officially open the centre’s new Healing Garden and meet the women who have been helped by the organisation.

The Queen met with domestic violence survivors and heard their stories. Her Majesty then took part in an art class that was designed to help process trauma.

She also received a tour of the newly refurbished centre and met volunteers, staff and trustees.

Queen Camilla has long supported victims of domestic abuse.

The AWRC is marking its 45th anniversary. It provides support to those with Black, Minority and Ethnic backgrounds who have suffered from domestic violence, forced marriage, honour-based or faith-based abuse.
