Queen Camilla has celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Poppy Factory at Clarence House.

During a reception at Clarence House, Queen Camilla met with employees and partners of The Poppy Factory, veterans, and family members.

The Poppy Factory was founded in 1922 to help create employment for wounded veterans of the First World War. This began at a small factory in Old Kent Road. The community soon grew and began making Remembrance poppies and wreaths for The Royal British Legion and The Royal Household.

During the reception, Queen Camilla learned about the evolution of the Poppy as a symbol.
