The Princess of Wales has sent a letter to an actor battling cancer.

Catherine sent a letter to Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala who is in remission from stage four ovarian cancer.

The Princess contacted the actress to congratulate her on her recovery and her return to acting.

Koirala revealed that the royal had sent her a letter after she initially reached out: “I wanted to reach out to HRH The Princess of Wales to send my good wishes. I am deeply heartened to receive such a warm response from her.”

The Princess of Wales has completed her chemotherapy treatment for an unspecified cancer and has slowly begun undertaking royal duties once again.

Catherine revealed she had cancer earlier this year after a major abdominal surgery. Kensington Palace has said that they will not be revealing the type of cancer the royal has.
