The Princess of Wales received a standing ovation at Wimbledon in her second public appearance since her cancer diagnosis.

As Catherine made her way to Centre Court, the crowd stood up and applauded.

The Princess was joined by her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Matthews in the Royal Box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Kensington Palace shared images from the day on social media saying that it was “great to be back.”

Catherine later presented the Wimbledon trophy to the winner of the men’s singles champion, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

She and Princess Charlotte also had the opportunity to meet the women’s champion, Barbora Krejčíková, with Barbora presenting Catherine with a tennis racket.

The Princess of Wales is patron of Wimbledon.

Catherine announced she was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing preventative chemotherapy earlier this year. She has primarily remained out of the limelight to focus on her health. She made her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour last month.
