Princess Charlotte’s football allegiance has been revealed by her father, the Prince of Wales.
The 11-year-old takes after her mum when it comes to who to cheer for in professional football.
The Prince of Wales, a die-hard Aston Villa fan, revealed that Charlotte cheers for Chelsea Football Club, the beloved team of her mother, the Princess of Wales.
While in Cornwall, the father of three spoke to children from Newquay’s Nansledan Primary School and the Naturally Learning Nursery. One young child told the heir to the throne that they rooted for Chelsea.
He responded, “My daughter loves Chelsea.”
Prince William isn’t alone as an Aston Villa fan. His son, Prince George (12), sides with his father when it comes to the sport.
The Prince of Wales previously told the Sun about football allegiance in his house, “I’m kind of hoping they’ll all find their own teams in time. They don’t all have to be Villa fans. I’m trying not to be biased, but obviously they see how passionate I am about it and they watch the matches with me.”
It appears Prince Louis (8) will have to break the tie at Kensington Palace. It remains to be seen who the youngster will side with – mum or dad.
The entire Wales family are known to be lovers of many sports.
