The Prince and Princess of Wales have hailed the Princess Royal as a “super trooper” on their social media account.

Princess Anne returned to royal duties yesterday following the accident that left her hospitalised, and she revealed that she doesn’t remember much from the incident.

The Prince and Princess of Wales posted, “Super trooper! So great to see you back so soon! W & C x.” Their initials indicate they made the message personally.

Princess Anne, 73, was injured in June on the Gatcombe Park Estate in an incident related to a horse. She sustained a concussion and spent a few nights at Southmead Hospital to recover.
