Food activists occupied the dining room at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

Nine activists came in carrying banners with slogans such as “change begins in the kitchen, not the boardroom.” They are part of an ongoing campaign to cut the food prices. The activists stepped over the barrier and sat down at the table.

The wing of the palace was temporarily closed to the public.
