The granddaughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent has announced her engagement.

Lady Marina is the daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews and Sylvana, Countess of St Andrews. She is their second child and first daughter. She has an elder brother, Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick and a younger sister, Lady Amelia Windsor.

She announced her engagement to Nico Macauley on her grandparents’ 64th wedding anniversary.

She was in the line of succession as a great-great-granddaughter of King George V and a second cousin once removed of Charles III, but she was removed after being confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church. She currently lives at Kensington Palace with her grandparents.
