Two new photos have been released by the Belgian Royal Palace to mark Prince Gabriel of Belgium’s 22nd birthday.

The images were taken by Bas Bogaerts at the Royal Palace in Brussels.

They feature the second child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde in a suit and tie on the stairs of the palace.

The Prince has studied at the Royal Military Academy of Belgium, focusing on social and military sciences.

Gabriel was born on 20 August 2003 to the current King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians. He is second in line to the throne behind his older sister, Princess Elisabeth.

He has two younger siblings, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore.
