Two new photos have been released of royal cousins celebrating their birthdays by the Belgian Royal Palace.

King Philippe of the Belgians and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, who are first cousins, celebrate their birthdays one day apart. King Philippe turned 64 on 15 April, while Grand Duke Henri turns 69 today (16 April).

The Belgian Royal Palace tweeted: “The State visit doesn’t start until tomorrow but the King and the Grand Duke already have something to celebrate together: their respective birthdays, that fall within a day of each other (15 and 16 April)! Happy birthday, Your Majesty and Your Royal Highness!”
