Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to discuss cooperation and coordination regarding the regional developments.

The meeting was also attended by Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the prime minister of Bahrain. Crown Prince Hussein commended the role of Bahrain as the President of the United Nations Security Council.
Crown Prince Hussein emphasised Jordan’s unwavering support for Bahrain and the other Gulf States.
The meeting was attended, on the Bahraini side, by Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Bahraini monarch’s personal representative; Lt. Gen. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, national security adviser, commander of the Royal Guard and general secretary of the Supreme Council for Defence; and Brig. Gen. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Guard special force commander. On the Jordanian side, Jordan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Rami Wreikat, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince, Zaid Baqain, were present.
