King and Queen of Bhutan attend graduation at Royal University of Bhutan

The King and Queen of Bhutan joined the students of the 16th Convocation of the Royal University of Bhutan as they celebrated their graduation.

The King addressed the graduates, saying that “we are living in a time of profound change and extraordinary promise—an unprecedented opportunity to shape the future in line with our highest aspirations. Alongside the strong foundations of our heritage and culture, and the advantages of global technological progress, Bhutan’s greatest strength lies in its people, especially the youth, enabling the nation to undertake ambitious initiatives such as the Gelephu Mindfulness City to transform Bhutan and the lives of Bhutanese.”

He also emphasised the importance of learning and reading, and the significance of artificial intelligence.
