IN PHOTOS: Bhutanese Royal Family celebrates National Day

The Bhutanese Royal Family marked their country’s 117th National Day on 17 December at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu.

King Jigme Khesar addressed his people at 9 am from the stadium, where many had camped out in the cold all night to get a seat. He also awarded national honours to mark the holiday.
