Queen Rania of Jordan met the Czech First Lady, Eva Pavlová, in Prague, while on a visit to the country with her husband, King Abdullah.
During a working visit, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel and the First Lady welcomed the King and Queen in an official ceremony at Prague Castle.
After the quartet met, the First Lady and Queen toured the castle, which once served as the home of the kings of Bohemia and now serves as the presidential palace.

The tour included stops at St. Vitus Cathedral and the South Gardens. St. Vitus Cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Prague and the principal cathedral of Prague.
Prague Castle was built in the 6th century and is the world’s largest ancient castle complex. It encompasses almost 70,000 square metres, and it served as the seat of power for many kings of Bohemia and Holy Roman emperors. The castle is now the most visited tourist attraction in the Czech Republic.
While the Queen was with the First Lady, King Abdullah met the President and Prime Minister Andrej Babiš to discuss expanding Jordanian-Czech cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also spoke about the need to intensify efforts to stabilise the region.
