Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan of Morocco has presided over the opening of the 31st International Book and Publishing Fair.

The International Book and Publishing Fair is held from May 1st to 10th. The Crown Prince’s father, King Mohammed VI, is the patron of the book fair.

He toured several exhibition stands at the fair, including that of France. France is this year’s guest of honour, highlighting the ties between Paris and Rabat. Rabat has been designated by UNESCO as World Book Capital 2026.

The book fair will host 891 exhibitors from 60 countries. Over 130,000 titles will be featured.
