King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand has sent a birthday message to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
The message reads, “On the auspicious occasion of Your Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary, may I extend my cordial congratulations and best wishes for the good health and happiness of Your Majesty as well as for the peace and prosperity of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and her people.
“As Your Majesty’s successive visits may well attest, both our countries enjoy exceptional close and enduring ties of friendship. Such ties not only reflect our excellent people-to-people relations and our most rewarding partnership, but they also serve as a testament to the true warmth and deep esteem between our Royal Families.
“I am thus confident that we will continue to cooperate closely in strengthening our partnership, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, water management and agriculture, while focusing more on technology, innovation and green energy. This will surely bring greater benefit and lead to a brighter future for our two countries and peoples.”
King Willem-Alexander celebrated his 59th birthday yesterday.
