Crown Prince Moulay Hassan of Morocco has inaugurated the Mohammed VI Tower.

Upon arrival, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan was greeted by Benjelloun, chairman and CEO of O Capital Group, and Dounia Benjelloun, the administrator.

The new Mohammed VI Tower is the tallest building in Morocco and is a flagship hip component of the Bouregreg Valley Development Project in Rabat. It is part of Rabat’s transformation into the “City of Light.”

The building is 250 metres tall and has 55 floors. It includes a Waldorf Astoria hotel, office space, high-end residential units and a panoramic observation deck. It is serviced by 36 elevators and can be seen within a 50 km radius.

Construction began in 2018 and was completed at the end of March 2026. It is estimated to have cost around 4 billion Moroccan dirhams ($432 million).

Crown Prince Moulay Hassan toured parts of the new tower during the opening ceremony. He visited the lobby, a model apartment, the observatory, and the Waldorf Astoria.
