Princess Isabella of Denmark, daughter of King Frederik X & Queen Mary, will begin her military service in August.

The Head of Communications at the Danish Royal Court announced earlier today that Princess Isabella, 18, will begin her military conscription beginning in the autumn. The Princess will be at the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse in August after completing her high school education.

The statement from the Royal Court noted that Crown Prince Christian also served his military service at the barracks in Slagelse from February to March 2025 after completing the strenuous ‘REX-tour’.

Further information relating to Princess Isabella’s conscription will be released at a later date. The Royal News Organisation will keep you up to date with all the developments in the Princess’s role within the Danish military.
