Prince Sverre Magnus relocates

Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway has relocated to Italy.

According to Norwegian media VG, the son of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit moved to Italy to study film and photography.

Royal Court Press Contact, Sara Svanemyr, told the press, “The Prince is currently in Italy, where he is exploring various opportunities, including in film and photography, with a desire to learn more about this.”

Prince Sverre Magnus, 19, founded his own production company earlier this year.

Sverre Magnus Productions is the young royal’s recently established film and photography business. The Royal Court confirmed the existence of the company to TV2 in Norway in July 2025.

Prince Sverre Magnus is the youngest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. He is third in line to the Norwegian throne behind his father and older sister.

The Crown Prince Couple currently have an empty nest. Their daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 21, is also abroad, studying in Sydney, Australia.
