Queen Mary of Denmark revealed this year’s Christmas stamp at Copenhagen City Hall.

The Queen consort of Denmark unveiled the 2025 stamp in the Festive Hall, following years of tradition of Her Majesty attending the event.

For 2025, artist Emilie Melgaard Jacobsen created the stamp called “Christmas Hope and Wishing Stars.” According to the Royal House, it is a “tribute to children’s wishes and hopes, and a reminder of how to help children overcome obstacles.”

Jacobsen spoke at the event, as did Anne Glad Wagner, Chairwoman of the Christmas Stamp Foundation.

Malene Charlotte Larsen also presented research on the relationship between children and social media, while the student choir from Julemærkehjemmet Liljeborg sang two songs with Bryan Rice.

Queen Mary is the patron of the Christmas Stamp Foundation.

The Christmas Stamp Foundation has released a special stamp every year since 1904. The goal is to raise money for children at the five Christmas Stamp Homes. Approximately 1,000 children each year stay at the Christmas Stamp Homes to receive help for their self-esteem and well-being.
