Princess Charlene of Monaco has visited the maternity ward of the Princess Grace Hospital.
She met with five mothers and their newborn babies, taking the time to listen to the stories of the new parents. She was warmly received and spoke about the support available in Monaco for families.
Princess Charlene inaugurated a new program of first aid workshops for parents of infants and young children. The program is organised by the Monaco Red Cross in partnership with the Princess Grace Hospital. During the first session, Charlene saw how parents learned to recognise early warning signs and carry out first aid. The sessions are also open to grandparents, babysitters and other caretakers.
